Wilson (hip) will not require surgery but will likely be placed on injured reserve, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Analysis: The Dolphins apparently plan to allot Wilson all the time needed to make a full recovery which is the basis for his inevitable IR stint. The fact that Wilson will avoid surgery is a good sign moving forward suggesting the speedy wideout will return to full form by the start of 2019. Miami has already designated lineman Jake Brendel and linebacker Mike Hull to return from IR which will prevent them from being able to bring back Wilson. With Wilson no longer in the immediate mix at wideout, there's a possibility Miami is now in the market for a receiver.

Swaim (knee) is dealing with a sprained MCL, Brandon George of The Dallas Morning News reports.

Analysis: Coach Jason Garrett already ruled Swaim out of the team's practices during this week's bye, but he hoped the results of the MRI would allow Swaim to return in short order, per David Helman of the Cowboys' official site. The team hasn't officially released a timetable regarding Swaim's recovery at this point, but the lengths can vary depending on the grade of the sprain. Blake Jarwin and Rico Gathers could be next in line to receive snaps if Swaim isn't ready to go against the Titans following the bye week.

    • Cooper (concussion) reported to the Cowboys...

Cooper (concussion) reported to the Cowboys on Tuesday and is scheduled to practice with the team Wednesday and Thursday this week, Jon Machota of The Dallas Morning News reports.

Analysis: Dallas forked over a 2019 first-round pick to the Raiders on Monday in exchange for Cooper, whom coach Jason Garrett indicated the team views as a bona fide No. 1 receiver. With Cooper joining the Cowboys on a bye week, he'll have sufficient time to get acclimated to his new digs and with the verbiage of the playbook, which should put him on track to handle a heavy snap count in his team debut Nov. 5 against the Titans. While Cooper sustained a concussion in his last game with the Raiders on Oct. 14, Garrett relayed Tuesday that the team has no concerns about his health, according to Clarence E. Hill Jr. of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports. In any case, Cooper will retain an injury designation until there's confirmation that he's cleared the NFL's five-step protocol for head injuries.

Henry was placed on injured reserve Tuesday due to a back injury, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.

Analysis: It previously wasn't clear what sort of injury sent Henry to IR. Regardless, the third-year defensive end is now guaranteed to miss at least the next eight games of the season. Look for seventh-round rookie Zach Sieler, who was a two-time consensus All-American during his final two seasons at Ferris State, to get a chance to help fill the 27.3 defensive snaps per game Henry vacated.

Butker knocked home one of his two field-goal attempts Sunday against the Bengals, but he also added six successful extra-point attempts.

Analysis: Butker went a perfect 11-for-11 on field goals in the first six weeks of the season, but he finally misfired to the left on a field goal from 53 yards out. He's still perfect on extra points this season and should remain one of the valuable kickers in the league given the explosiveness of the Chiefs' offense.
